* evolution

PAC-ANTIOQUIA is constantly assessing the needs of the population in order to improve the health services.

+ The programmes

The programmes have evolved with time and at the moment there are two types of programmes:
•Specialized Medicine
•Promotion and prevention

PAC-ANTIOQUIA and the local hospital cover 50% of the cost and the remaining 50% is financed by donations from national, international or private sources.

+ Specialized Medical Programmes

Typical Mission
One day of work
Clinical and Surgical Medical attention
50 consultations
18 surgical cases

To complement the above the PAC-ANTIOQUIA has instituted a teaching and refresher programme for the hospital personnel, health workers and school teachers. They serve as multipliers for the community.

The specialist services offered by PAC-ANTIOQUIA are: General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Dermatology, Ear Nose and Throat, Orthopaedics, Urology and Plastic Surgery.
